About the event

This case consultation group is for professionals who perform evaluations. Each of the six sessions will include a short didactic component then a case discussion, and each participant will have the opportunity to present one case. TSG is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Stixrud Group maintains responsibility for this program and its content. Social work CEs are pending.

Intended audience: All levels of clinicians, from beginner through advanced.

Learning objectives: Participants will be able to:

1.  Describe the DSM autism criteria, particularly regarding autistics who camouflage.

2. Use a structured, data-based process to determine if clients are autistics.

3. Offer neurodiversity-affirming explanations and recommendations, particularly for autistic clients.
